Nervous about getting Botox for the first time?
If you’re nervous about getting Botox for the first time, you are not alone! If you’re a client of mine, you’ve probably heard my first time Botox story. So I can relate completely and feeling this way is normal and expected!
The most concerned areas for first time clients are forehead lines and 11’s (lines between the eyes). These areas are typically treated with 10-16 units and 14-20 units, respectively.
It can definitely be intimidating to hear that these two areas may require 24-36 units in total. However, this dosage is very common to achieve the most natural result. There is a range in dosing because everyone’s anatomy is different and everyone’s treatment goal may differ.
When I am treating a first time client, I am always taking into consideration 3 specific features:
1. How tall is their forehead? Do they have a short forehead or a tall forehead?
2. How deep are their wrinkles?
3. What is their eye anatomy? Do they have hooded or deep set eyes?
These 3 features help determine the product type, dose, and placement that would be best for that specific client.
I also always ask my first time clients to come back for a follow up. This allows us to discuss your results and any questions you may have at that time.
If you’ve been wanting to get Botox for a while but have that scared feeling like I did, please book a complimentary consultation with me! I would love to answer any and all questions you may have! I can’t wait to share our nervous Botox stories together!
xoxo
